| Water your plants heavily for the first two to three days. This helps the soil to settle around the roots and eliminates air pockets. Make sure that the water is sinking into the planting hole and not running off the top. |

| Wondering
when you should transplant trees and shrubs?
Here's
an easy way to remember. It's OK to transplant
in any month with an "R" in it.
September, October, November, December, January,
February, March, April. Never in May, June,
July or Aug.
Remember,
though, if a tree or shrub is dug in the spring
and balled and burlapped or potted, it can be
planted in your yard all year long! We dig
all of our plants in the spring so that you can
plant whenever! |

One acre of forest absorbs
six tons of carbon dioxide and puts out four tons
of oxygen. This is enough to meet the annual needs
of 18 people." - U.S. Dept. of Agriculture
"There are about 60-to 200- million spaces
along our city streets where trees could be planted.
This translates to the potential to absorb 33
million more tons of CO2 every year, and saving
$4 billion in energy costs." - National
Wildlife Federation

Dear Tom and Eder Family,
I just wanted to send a note of heartfelt gratitude for the personalized, excellent, outstanding, lovely patio landscaping and plantings you recently completed. Norm and I are thrilled with the results--we feel as if we have a brand new private park outside our back door! And the ooh's, and aah's and dropped jaws of our curious neighbors echo our feelings! We must praise your workmen. They are truly artists--so meticulous, skilled, and hard-working! Bravo, bravo! Great job! We shall recommend you to all our friends and acquaintances.
Judy and Norm
